I got unbelievably lucky to sit front row at the Sass & Bide show last friday and im still pinching myself.
I managed to capture what i think was the mood of the day. Beautiful smilling people and just an agreable humeur all round.

Sonja is a buyer and founder of Alterstyle, a concept store in Shanghai. I got to play her personal assistant for two days and it was the best thing ever.

I called this little bunch the originals because they brought some originality to the day.
So, here are pics taken yesterday. I wish i could do this all week long but im happy with just the one day, as it was enough for me to realise few things.
First off, i need to work on my photography skills. I need to learn how to play with surroundings and light and so much more.Talking about photography, Scott Schuman from The Sartorialist was at Somerset House too. Now, while all/most streetstyle photographers were up and down running after every bit of fur, sheer, platform shoes and anything and eveything on/or remotely on trend or in fashion, he just stood there. He had like a pervert-ish way about him (but in a good way), as if he was looking for that anodin detail that everybody else was missing. That’s just a little anecdote. Something else i’ve realised? People look so much different in real than in pictures. Also, people don’t go to fashion shows to make friends. And, always have some cards with you.

Today is my Birthday, but instead of doing the usual get together thing, i decided to go to London Fashion Week. I figured, instead of waiting for pics of fashionable people, i might as well go and get it myself. So, like one will say, i descended upon Somerset House to see and snap well…fashionable people.

Not only was she rocking these killer red velvet pumps like not other, she was amazingly nice. I mean, she actually stopped, posed and smiled and that just made my day.
