I bought a chunky necklace from Claires and some earrings from River Island and just put them together.

J’ai acheté la chaine chez Claire et les boucles d’oreilles chez River Island.

Pennyblack DIY Necklace

I first saw this necklace on Carolina and thought it was really beautiful.

It’s such a great statement piece and can be worn in any season.

I went ahead and made one and love it so much already.

I used: 1M rope (that i folded in two), 10 Split Steel Rings, 2 small Hooks and one part of a Compression Straight Coupler.

I just sew the hooks at both end of the folded rope and slid all the round components for this diy.

So simple and so cheap, yet  great uptades for your wardrobe. Go ahead, make one for yourself or relatives and i promise you will be so happy with your litttle creation.

Belle du Jour + A Little How To.

If i had my way, this is how i will dress to go buy my flowers on Sunday mornings. I love the pastel colors of both the bloomers and the shoes…i just love the all look.

Now, a little how to.

I was contacted by Judith few days ago, and she wanted to know how i made the bows inspired by Louis Vuitton’s bow shoes.

Thanks Judith for giving me the idea for this post.

This is what you need: ribbon, thread ( or sellotape, glue gun or anything that can stick), and needle.

The ribbon has to be cut into four pieces.

Two long pieces ( 22cm each) and two small pieces ( 9cm each).

Sew both edges of the long pieces of ribbon together.

Place the small pieces of ribbon over the long ones and sew both edges together.

This is what you should have.

Ps: If you want your  DIY to be believable, go for a ribbon whose color will totally clash with the color of the shoes.
